Red and Blue Butterfly Earrings
Butterflies have always been near and dear to my heart. They're as beautiful as they are tragic in their emphemerality. So, through my craft I sought to make them eternal.
These earrings are made from laser cut scrap plywood and hand painted with acrylics. To protect their vibrancy, they have been coated with a gloss varnish. Black glass and blue agate beads compliment their colours.
The earwires are handmade from stailness steel.
And because the backs deserve just as much attention, I have painted them with leaves.
