Similar to butterflies, moths are commonly seen as a symbol of transformation, endings and new beginnings. Even though often associated with death, as creatures that are so drawn to light, I can't help but think that wherever they may guide us, it's a good place.

This set is made from laser cut scrap MDF and hand painted with acrylics in stunning shades of pink and blue. To protect their vibrancy, they have been coated with a gloss varnish. Blue glass and pink agate beads complement their colours. The chain closes with a stailness steel hook handmade by myself.

The earwires are also made from stailness steel.

And because the backs deserve just as much attention, I have painted them with leaves.
