Butterflies have always been near and dear to my heart. They're as beautiful as they are tragic in their emphemerality. So, through my craft I sought to make them eternal.

This set is made from laser cut scrap plywood and hand painted with acrylics. To protect their vibrancy, they have been coated with a gloss varnish. Orange agate beads add dimension and complement the colours. The silver plated chain closes with a lobster clasp.

The earwires are made from stailness steel.

And because the backs deserve just as much attention, I have painted them with leaves.
